⚠️ Keep away from pets. Toxic to cats and dogs. Clematis sap contains protoanemonin; chewing causes drooling, mouth and throat irritation, vomiting and diarrhoea - usually mild, as the bitter taste deters large intake. Keep pets from grazing the stems.
